About Me

I am a Christ follower. I love Jesus.
I believe that I am beautifully and wonderfully made by the one and only God. I believe that He rescued me from my sin through the death and resurrection of his son, Jesus. I am made complete in Him.

I am a daughter and a sister. I grew up in a small town in Texas with my family. My sister is my best friend in the world (although we weren't that way until after I graduated from high school). My family is very important to me. I love them!

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin (officially) in May 2011 with a BA in English. UT taught me to love college football and have some school spirit. Austin captured my heart with its colorful, musical weirdness.

I am an amateur baker, cook and crafter. I love that we have such a creative God- to give us the sense of taste and smell! Cooking brings me joy and stability, and slowly but surely I'm learning my way around the kitchen.

Any questions? Just ask!

  1. What town did you grow up in? I lived in Fort Worth for six years. Texas is my favorite place and English is the best major! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
