What I Wore Wednesday: My First Attempt!

Welcome to my first What I Wednesday Post!

It has been a crazy busy but amazing week!

Part of what we talked about at the Girls Extravaganza 

was rebuilding new outfits from things we own 

and honoring God in what we spend on clothes.

So here are my attempts at frugal/modest/cute outfits

I love that I can use the same pieces differently to create a completely different outfit!

What I wore

Sunday: Church

Cropped cardigan: Rue21

Ruffled Button Up: from clothing swap last year

Necklace: Icing a looong time ago

belt: came with a dress from JCPenney

and is really off center. Oops!

black undershirt: Wal-Mart

gray dress pants: Banana Republic, from clothing swap

The button up top is actually a little too big for me, so I don't wear it often. But paired with the belt and a cardigan it totally works! Next time I think a brown/cream colored scheme might work better with it!

Monday: Work at the Office

 Monday Night: Late Valentine's Date Night

We finally got to celebrate Valentine's Day on Monday with a super delicious steak dinner.

I loved using my new clutch! Thanks Kerrie!

What I read:

Just started Not A Fan by Kyle Idleman

Our church is going through the small group Bible study and sermon series

It's really good. It has the same mentality as Crazy Love by Francis Chan and Radical by David Platt. Totally recommend it!
