I'm so excited to be linking up today with Ashley at Written on her Heart and Mackenzie at Life of a Pint Sized Mama- both amazing women! We're discussing the passions that we may not share on the blog. I hope you'll link up as well- this is a great tool for meeting other women and connecting with them.
P.S. I may not be able to come comment on everyone's vlog this round- getting tons of assignments done for the last couple weeks of school. I can see the light at the end!
Chelsea! I loved hearing your story! It's awesome to see that the Lord has given you such a passion for ministry! Your blog is so cute, I can't wait to check it out! And I love your dress, I have the same one in green! (almost did my vlog in my dress, but did it in my sweats instead)
1. how are you so sweet all the time? 2. i love love love your passion for your kids.. it is so wonderful to see someone like you so committed to them 3. You must be so excited to be going back to Austin!
you are so cute girl! i love your commitment to this ministry. you're right, it's not one that ends at a certain time, and love that you are willing to dive deep into it! you're coming back to austin! awesome. we should meet up sometime!
Chelsea, I love hearing your heart for your students and I can see the joy on your face as you talk about them! I definitely understand about ministry not being a 9-5 job :) And I love when you share your #cheapgirlfashion on Instagram. I also mentioned you in my video today :)
You are so sweet! I can totally relate! I volunteered in high school ministry for 5 years. I had the same girls from their Sophmore to Senior years of HS and I love love love them all! (they are all 21 now and in college). But I keep in touch with all of them and we still pray for one another and it has been an amazing blessing.
So glad to have met you through this link-up! I know other ladies have said this, but I LOVE your heart for students! I can definitely feel your passion for students and it's so contagious, too! :)
Everything about you is precious, Chelsea. I almost started crying when you were talking about your students because I can see the way you care for them in your eyes... I have experienced something similar with my students... they feel like my children / family (although some are older than me) because of the growth, breakthrough, pain, and heartfelt moments we walked through together. It truly changes you. I believe they will have pieces of my heart forever :)
YOU! I like you. I love your beautiful heart and how it just shines of love. You really do love well. I'm so inspired by you. We need to chat again soon.
Um girl! We need to be friends!! So glad I found you through this link up. I work with youth too, and I see under your picture that you're in seminary? I just finished seminary in August! I think we just might be kindred spirits ;) Let me know if you ever want to chat ministry or seminary and in the meantime I'm looking forward to getting to know you more through your blog. Blessings!
Love this! Youth ministry is such a challenging and beautiful thing. I really miss it, since I was in youth ministry since graduating high school...even before that since I was a student leader. You're totally right! It is something you carry with you in your heart and I could talk about it for hours. Maybe someday God will call us back into student ministry. =) ...well, I guess I still am, just with much, much younger ages. Haha! I'm the kids ministry coordinator for the church we're helping start. So I work with crawling to age 9. =) Not the same, but still really fun and I do enjoy it. Anywho...sorry I rambled so much! You looked adorable as always! Alesha
